NOTES:

Iggy has been with Adaine ever since she woke up in New Bark Town. He is patient with her, allowing her to hug him whenever her anxiety gets bad. He's her stand-in emotional support familiar. His lax nature means that he doesn't really care about or pay attention to rules, laws, or social mores. This usually manifests in him trying to steal orb-shaped objects from other people that he wants to replace his precious pearl. Adaine is trying to train him out of this behavior.

NOTES:

Howl was the first wild Pokemon that Adaine ever caught! After she arrived in Pallet Town via the ferry, she met up with Riz, who took her on Route 1 that night to show her the ropes of Pokemon battling. Howl is a very passive and nonreactive Pokemon. He doesn't have much to say, though that doesn't mean he doesn't care about anything. He just keeps his opinions to himself. He is a very calming presence for Adaine, and he reminds her a lot of her familiar Boggy's owl form.

NOTES:

Adaine picked up Guppy before leaving Pallet Town with Riz. She was initially reticent to acquire a third Pokemon right away, but rationalized that she would fare better later on if she had more than just two Pokemon at the start. Between Guppy's high speed and her Pickup ability, she is always quick to pick up whatever held items she comes across. Adaine has a vague plan to maybe earn herself some money by selling the items Guppy picks up later on.

NOTES:

After about a month in Saffron City, Adaine felt that her three Pokemon were well enough trained for her to try capturing a fourth. This little purple cat played cute in front of Adaine, before suddenly baring its claws and trying to steal a berry that Guppy had picked up. Its duplicitous behavior reminded Adaine of her older sister, so she decided to name the Pokemon after her.

Adaine and Riz went camping in North Area One and the Bamboo Forest, trying to fulfill some class assignments. While exploring in North Area One in search of a Gimmighoul of her own, Adaine became possessed by the Gimmighoul's ghost energy and started picking up Gimmighoul Coins without noticing it. It wasn't until her Purrloin noticed the odd behavior and bit Adaine's ankle to snap her out of it that she realized the small mimic-like Pokemon had been compelling her to do it. Thinking the Gimmighoul was cute enough to be forgiven for charming her, Adaine decided to catch it.

(One of many to come, surely.)

This shiny Pokemon was Riz's birthday gift to Adaine, after their trip to Paldea. His name comes from the Elven words quihta meaning "shoot" (as in a bow) + lócë meaning "dragon."
